This coin purse have the zipper at the center. So that when you need money just unzip it and open it by pressing opposite edge of the zipper with your palm and fingers for it to open.

For this wallet we need:

1) A cloth or some water proof material like that of backpacks, size 4" x 5".

2) 5" long zipper and its slide.
Picture
How to make it is tricky, if you are unable to visualize the procedure, because you have to see the other DIY to understand what I am talking about.  (I am sorry for failing to document the procedure, I was caught up in the moment.)

Procedure:

1) Sew the zippers at the 5" sides. On opposite sides.

2) Insert the zipper slide.

3) Turn it inside out and sew both the open sides.

4) Reverse the coin purse to reveal the finish project.

Lets try to make a coin purse with a long zipper, with out cutting it and sewing at opposite ends.

We need:
Picture
1) 8" x 4" cloth or like what I used here is a water proof material used in back packs.

2) 8" long zipper, yes it have no partner.

3) Zipper slide.

Few materials to work with. Very easy project.

We start off by:
Picture
1) Sew the zipper at one of the edge, the put the zipper slide.

Picture
2) Put it at its wrong side.

3) Sew the open side.

4) Sew the open bottom.

(You don't need to do this) I wanted to secure more the stitches by tying the threads before cutting them.

Picture
5) Reverse the coin purse and we have our done project.

This is a fancy coin purse which you cannot hide in your pockets but in you bags.

Collect the materials:

Another side.

I have a bag for folders that I disintegrated to integrate some of its parts into my projects. I found a part of it and we are going to use it to make a sturdy little coin purse.

We will need:
Picture
1) A vinyl cut into 5" x 5".

2) 5" long zipper and its slide.

You can see how easy it is. We only need two things.

We start by:
Picture
1) Sew the zipper at opposite ends of the vinyl.

2) Put the zipper slide.

Picture
3) Turn it to its wrong side and sew the sides.

Picture
No sweat. If you reverse the coin purse, we have the finish product  looking expensive and durable.

We are having a very simple do-it-yourself project that involves recycling unused baseball caps into a coin purse. The cap that I used for this project is a gave away from some friends. I never used it and why not make it into something more functional.

We need:
Picture
1) A baseball cap.

Picture
2) a cut-out of 8" x 4-1/2".

Picture
trace the paper on the cap then cut through it.

Picture
3) A piece of cloth (the white one).

4) 4-1/2" long zipper and slide.

Now that we have everything that we need, We start off with:
Picture
1) Sew the zippers at both end of the cloth.

2) Add the zipper slide.

3) Fold it as shown in the picture (on the left), measuring an inch from the zipper to one of the folds.

Picture
4) Cut the white piece of cloth into 2" x 5".

5) Fold it as shown in the picture (on the left). With the edges converging at the center. Making quarters.

Picture
6) Turn the purse inside out.

7) Sew the white cloth on the sides (white cloth holding the sides). The white cloth will secure the sides from undoing/loosening.

If you need a clamp to hold the pieces together, do so.

And here we have the finish product. This is the front.

Picture
And this is the back with interesting details.

The coin purse we are making now is  recycled, part of a bag I had to restore. As seen on the pictures above and below.
Picture
We will need:
1. the little pouch at the left corner and the zipper (picture above) which will act as the inner part of the coin purse and
2. a piece of cloth to be the outer part.
Picture
Procedure:
1. We start of by Cutting the cloth with the same height and width of that pouch. If you don't have a readily available pouch you can prepare two cloth to act as the outside and inner sides.

2. Fold the cloth and sew the sides leaving the top for the zipper.
Picture
3. Join the two pouch at the base (shown). Sew both ends.
Picture
4. Turn it inside out, ready for the sewing of the zipper.
Picture
Fold the top of the purse with the outer side folded in and the inner side folded out accordingly. Prepare to insert the zipper and sew it as so.
Picture
And now we have a beautiful and easily made coin purse at low cost.

It looks easy and it is indeed very easy to make. Enjoy creating your own coin purse.
